Terms & Conditions
Please read these below Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) before participating in India in Motion (“Program”), organized by Canon India Private Limited ("Canon", "we", "us", or "our"). This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between Canon and the participating individual (“Participant”).
A. ACCEPTANCE & PLATFORM COMPLIANCE
By participating, the Participant agrees that he/she has read, understood, and agrees to comply Terms with all applicable laws, ASCI Guidelines for Influencer Advertising, and Instagram/Meta policies.
B. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
India in Motion is a national wide video-led creator initiative celebrating authentic video storytelling. The Program celebrates authentic, dynamic, and unscripted storytelling. The Participant agrees that Participation in the Program does not create any employment, partnership, or agency relationship between Canon and Participant.
C. ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be 18+, Residents of India, participate individually (entries submitted on behalf of others will not be accepted), and own all submitted content.
D. PUBLISH GUIDELINES/PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
Step 1 – Create: Shoot a 60–90 second video aligned with the theme India in Motion. Tag @CanonCameras.in, use official music and hashtags, then submit the link via the microsite
Step 2 – Publish: Upload the video on Instagram (Reel/Post), use the official campaign music track, follow and tag @CanonCameras.in, and use hashtags #IndiaInMotion, #EOSRXV, and #IndiaInMotionWith [ProductName].
Step 3 – Submit: Submit the entry via the official microsite with required details and the Instagram link.
E. CONTENT GUIDELINES
Content must be original, lawful, brand-safe, and compliant with ASCI and Meta policies. Mandatory disclosure using #Ad/#Sponsored where applicable is required.
Prohibited content includes misleading claims, political or religious messaging, unsafe acts, hate speech, sexual content, illegal goods, or copyright violations. Participants must obtain all necessary permissions and releases for identifiable individuals or third-party content. Canon assumes no liability for failure to obtain such permissions.
iii. Canon may request raw footage, metadata, or proof of ownership. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

G. WINNING SELECTION AND REWARDS
Round 1: Twelve winners will receive a EOS R6V Kit.
Round 2: Winners will create new content on EOS R6V.
Mega Winner: One participant will receive INR 1,000,000/- grant for a film project.
H. AI & EDITING
Fully AI-generated content is prohibited. Limited editing is allowed.
I. JUDGING & SOLE DISCRETION
All decisions by Canon regarding eligibility, judging, rewards, and disqualification shall be final and binding.
J. REWARDS & TAXES
Rewards are non-transferable and subject to applicable Indian taxes and TDS.
K. USAGE RIGHTS
Participants grant Canon a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the content for promotional purposes.
L. DATA AND PRIVACY
The data shall be used for only for program management and commination
M. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Canon shall not be liable for platform issues or indirect damage.
N. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
